Blue Dolfins is a USA Swimming team located in beautiful
Central Florida. Started in 1972 by Harry Meisel, the Blue Dolfins
have a long tradition of producing top swimmers at the age-group
and college level. Our facilities include a 50 meter pool at the
Oviedo Aquatic Complex on Oviedo Blvd. and a 25 yard pool at the
Winter Park Racquet Club. The Dolfins have been in Oviedo
since 1994 and Winter Park since 1972. If you would like to get

and Swimmers, The Blue Dolfins and
the swimming community has lost a great man. Coach Harry Meisel
passed away this weekend. He was a pioneer in Florida Swimming.
Making it what it is today and, as you all know, he created the
Blue Dolfins. In addition he was a Hero who fought in the battle of
the Bulge. His full history of accomplishments is truly amazing but
really do not show the impact he had on so many young lives. That
can not be measured or written. He will never be forgotten and his
legacy will live on in so many ways. To the Meisel family, we love
you and thank you for sharing "Coach" with us! Services will be
